TERMS OF SERVICE

Pet Safety

Pet health and safety are our top priorities. Mosa Pet Spa & Resort LLC requires proof of a current rabies vaccination & age appropriate vaccines/titters (or a valid veterinary waiver) prior to providing services. Acceptable proof includes:

  1. A valid, current rabies tag.

  2. Emailed Veterinary records receipt. (info@mosapetsparesort.com)

  3. Confirmation directly from your veterinary clinic. (emailed/texted)

To ensure the safety and health of every pet, Mosa Pet Spa & Resort LLC maintains strict sanitation protocols, cleaning tubs, tables, and tools thoroughly between each use. While additional vaccinations, such as those for Distemper, Parainfluenza, Bordetella, and Parvovirus, are not mandatory (for spa services*), we strongly recommend them to help protect your pet from preventable infectious conditions.

Medical Release

While Mosa Pet Spa & Resort LLC uses natural products, it is important to note that no product can be guaranteed as entirely hypoallergenic due to individual pet sensitivities. As such, we cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions or the aggravation of pre-existing conditions.

Additionally, Mosa Pet Spa & Resort LLC is not liable for complications or the worsening of any pre-existing medical conditions, such as hotspots, skin growths, heart disease, respiratory issues, arthritis, or clotting disorders, that may occur as a result of the grooming process.

Matted Coats

When dealing with matted coats, we follow these guidelines to ensure the best care:

Handling Matted Coats

  • Safety First: We do not perform excessive de-matting procedures due to the potential pain and risk of injury to your pet.

  • Severe Matting: In the case that there is significant matting, shaving is the safest and most humane solution.

Shaving Consent

  • Minor matting may be clipped without prior contact to maintain airflow and circulation.

  • For extensive matting discovered after check-in:

    • We will contact the Client to request consent before proceeding.

    • If we cannot reach the Client, the grooming process will be paused, and services may remain incomplete until permission is granted.

Potential Outcomes

  • Removing mats may reveal pre-existing injuries or conditions (e.g., redness, irritation, or hematomas) as circulation returns to the affected areas.

  • Mosa Pet Spa & Resort LLC cannot be held responsible for these underlying or secondary issues caused by matting.

Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service

Mosa Pet Spa & Resort LLC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services under the following circumstances:

  • Health Concerns: If the pet exhibits illness, injury, or any condition that may compromise their health or the safety of others.

  • Expired Rabies Vaccine: Proof of a current rabies vaccination is mandatory for all services.

  • Jeopardized Safety: If the pet's behavior, size, or condition poses a risk to the pet, our staff, or other animals.

In Case of Illness or Injury

  • If client's pet becomes sick or injured while in our care, Mosa Pet Spa LLC will act as the Client's “designated agent” to ensure their well-being.

  • We will make every effort to contact the Client immediately.

  • If contact cannot be made, we reserve the right to seek veterinary care at our discretion. Any resulting expenses will be the sole responsibility of the Client.

Late or Missed Appointments

We understand that schedules can change, but we ask for cooperation in adhering to the following policies to ensure fairness for all our clients:

Late Arrivals

  • Appointments allow for a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals.

  • If the Client arrives more than 10 minutes late, the appointment may be canceled, and a No-Show Fee of 75% of the service cost will apply.

Late Pick-Ups

  • Pets picked up after the scheduled time will incur a $1 per minute late fee, applied for each minute past the scheduled pick-up time.

  • These fees ensure all clients receive the same dedicated care.

Cancellations

  • Grooming, Bathing, and Playtime cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the scheduled service to avoid a cancellation fee.

  • Overnight service cancellations or alterations must be made 7 days prior to the scheduled arrival date to avoid a 50% cancellation fee of the reservation total.

Card on File Authorization

By providing credit card information, the Client authorizes Mosa Pet Spa & Resort LLC to securely store a card on file for future transactions and fees. This authorization will remain in effect until the Client requests its termination.

Terms of Authorization

  • The Client is responsible for initiating the cancellation of this authorization.

  • To terminate the authorization, a written request must be submitted to our business by mail: 213 Waldo St, Cary, NC 27511
